Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights
Since the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) deals with propagating innovation securing these ideas and innovations is equally important, so a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights was coordinated. The management of this workshop panned out on the online platform on 29.01.2021, from 11 am onwards.
The speaker for the day was Dr. Rohin Garg discussed the key points of the workshop, centered on Intellectual property rights, their management, and how they can benefit all. The Indian legal aspects of the same were discussed in detail too. Intellectual property rights assist in safeguarding intellectual capital and are the driving force in international trade.
The IPR's laws are diversified on trademarks, patents, copyrights, data protection, etc. Thus, innovators knowing about these laws is essential. Dr. Rohan Garg shed light on all the crucial aspects of the topic so that the innovation and the innovators know their rights appropriately.
An interactive question-answer round made the session more interactive.
